Story about business of Toy factory in Ukraine

Today had an interesting meeting with Aleksander, a manager of toy factory “Alina” in my city.
Aleksander told me the factory’s history and his projects.
As it appears the factory moved to Illichivsk last year Originally they were working from 2001 in Donetsk, but when in the city started war, they moved their production.
Now they are located in my city and try not only to survive but to develop their production.

One Danish company asked me to do research of Ukrainian companies and to see if there is possibility to work with Ukraine.
I got really excited after this offer, I never did researches and it was interesting to discover what Ukraine produces. I contacted a lot of companies and about one of them I will write in my today’s post.

Инна продавала красивые головные украшения. И спустя несколько дней мы встретились для беседы об ее бизнесе.
Как оказалось, Инна предприниматель с 1999 года, на местном рынке она владеет двумя небольшими магазинчиками.

Недавно встретилась с очень интересными и необычными девушками, сестрами Екатериной и Светланой, основателями издательства “Три муравья“. В прошлом году девушки напечатали свою первую книгу “Книжка для тех, кто любит дни рождения”. Работа над книгой заняла полгода, к ней они привлекли одесских художников. На этом Светлана и Екатерина не остановились, они издали еще две детские книжки: “Книжка для всех, кто любит спорт” и “Головные уборы”. Также в ближайших планах издание еще двух книг этим летом.

Today I have a special guest for you. Her name is Marika, owner of “ByMarika” brand.

And she was extremely kind to tell her life story to readers of the blog.

For many years Marika didn’t know what career she wanted to make for herself. But she always knew that she wanted to create her own life. After finishing Market economist she ended up at the online shop department at “Vila” which is a subbrand to the big Danish clothing company “Bestseller”. She worked her way up to department manager in two years, and after one year as a manager she decided that it was time for her to make a move if she ever wanted to do what she had always dreamed of.

About “Visualize You” company from Aarhus

As you could notice of my blog, I write a lot about people who live in Aarhus. And the reason is very simple – Aarhus is amazing city with fantastic people, who inspire me after each meeting.

Today’s story is about Rasmus and Kenny, students who recently started their own business.

Rasmus just got his bachelor’s in media studies, and Kenny is on his 4^th semester at multimedia design.

They met last year at social club, Kenny worked there as a bartender, and Rasmus was a manager.

Я всегда любила поезда. Особенно истории, связанные с этим видом транспорта. Сколько раз у меня завязывались разговоры с попутчиками, которых я никогда больше не видела. Думаю, наши плацкарты заменяют людям психологов и так необходимого искреннего человеческого общения. Ведь, какое чувство комфорта – рассказать человеку о самом сокровенном, зная, что больше вы никогда не встретитесь.
К счастью, Сергей, в поезде Одесса – Киев, не рассказывал мне ужасы своей жизни. Наоборот, поведал мне о своей работе и причинах деловой поездки. Сергей ехал с большой компанией на семинар в Москве, и они оказались прекрасными и веселыми попутчиками.

Дмитрий по профессии – программист, работал сначала в Ильичевске, потом переехал жить в Москву и Санкт – Петербург.
